A seafood restaurant is making waves across Australia with its unique dining experience where customers eat right at the table.

Kickin ‘Inn, which makes a regular appearance on TikTok and Instagram feeds, has seven restaurants in New South Wales and one in Victoria and was first launched in 2018.

The unconventional restaurant offers diners a “Kajun seafood” menu where guests share a meal wearing bibs and white gloves – no cutlery needed.

Hot, steaming seafood – including seeds, shrimp, insects, octopus, crabs and corn – arrives in plastic bags and is thrown on the table for diners to draw from.

The bags contain a variety of seafood including squid, blue swimmer crab, bay bugs, fresh shrimp, baby octopus, mud crabs, crayfish, pee, muscle, lobster and Moreover.

“The concept of a dining room where you play with your food, using your fingers to eat delicious seafood from a bag is unique. Most customers like to spill their food on the table and get stuck there, ”co-founder Rami Singh told FEMAIL.

Customers can choose from the popular “Kickin’licious Bag”, “Mixed Bag” or “Drag N Drop Bag”, which allows customers to select specific seafood of their choice.

“Then, customers choose the sauce and the level of spice they want, “It’s the sauces that set us apart. All sauces are prepared fresh for each order, ”added Mr. Singh.

Kickin ‘Inn seafood bags contain squid, blue swimmer crab, insects, fresh shrimp, baby octopus, mud crabs, crayfish, pee, muscle, lobster and more.

In November, the restaurant hosts a “Cheers To Champion Charities”, where they donate $ 5 from every sale of their signature Shrimp Martini, to essential workers at the Australian Red Cross, Little Wings and Lifeline.
