LA Manufactory is complete with Chris Bianco’s new dining restaurant, the Alameda Supper Club



The biggest final piece of the Manufacture’s puzzle is here, and its name is Alameda Dinner Club. The Downtown LA restaurant, reserved for dinner time, shares an open kitchen with the all-day restaurant Tartine Bianco, but has its own starter, menu, hours and ambiance, making it simultaneously a part of the restaurant. ‘a larger whole and something unique.

While Tartine Bianco in some ways looks like a Chad Robertson / Elizabeth Pruitt (Tartine) project with a bit of Chris Bianco (Pizzeria Bianco, Tratto) sprinkled on it, Alameda Supper Club decidedly looks like a Bianco project with a touch of Tartine. The entrance to the restaurant and the soon-to-open patio are on the east side of The Row’s 44,000 square foot long three-level space near the Arts District, and there are no components of the market and produce. take-out bakery like those found at Tartine Blanche.

Instead, chef Chris Bianco and his team stick to a simple script that includes crunchy salads, fresh oysters, and some $ 20 pasta. There’s no pizza, so don’t ask, but there is lamb belly with salsa verde, bone-in sirloin steak, and pistachio rye cannoli for dessert. The opening menu is below.

The first evening of public service took place last night at the Alameda Supper Club, with employees telling Eater that the restaurant would now be open every evening for dinner service. The outdoor patio bar should be ready for global warming next week.
