New breakfast-lunch restaurant coming soon

DOVER — A popular breakfast and lunch restaurant with three locations in the state will launch a fourth location in the building formerly occupied by Uno’s Pizzeria & Grill on Indian Brook Road.

Tucker’s, which operates locations in Hooksett, New London and Concord, was first launched in 2014. Hale Cole-Tucker and his wife, Erica, co-own the small chain and pride themselves on customer service and the comforting atmosphere of their restaurants. .

“We built our brand on customer service and our restaurant culture,” said Hale Cole-Tucker. “The first thing we teach all employees is an exceptional level of customer service. We want them to deliver the unexpected.

Cole-Tucker said Tucker’s specializes in breakfast and lunch options. They try to use local options when buying food to use in the kitchen.

The new restaurant is expected to open in early June.

Cole-Tucker said no structural work needs to be done to renovate the building, but the atmosphere will be transformed to prepare the restaurant.

“We just need to do what we like to call ‘Tucker-izing’ the space,” he said. “…It looked more like a bar/pub, and we’re just going to brighten it up.

Cole-Tucker said the Dover location will be the restaurant’s largest, seating 150. He expects to create between 40 and 50 jobs in Dover.

“We’ve wanted to go to the Seacoast for a while,” Cole-Tucker said. “My wife and I went to UNH, so we know the area well and have been looking for the right place there for some time. … We’re really excited about all the coastal growth, especially in the Dover, Somersworth, Rochester area.
