Noosa’s new seafood restaurant is top notch

Noosa’s brand new seafood restaurant is top notch in helping local fisheries and farmers bring fresh produce to the table.

The Notch Bar and Restaurant sits in the heart of the iconic, slightly bohemian, Real Dining Precinct in Noosa Junction.

Owner Kirk Dalgrin said the design team recently finished the restaurant with playful, modern touches.

“Modern touches blend seamlessly, setting a contemporary stage for our catering team’s exceptional food and beverage selection, while presenting a whole new way to enjoy the Noosa dining experience,” said Kirk.

The Notch family is committed to sourcing and serving the finest produce and seafood without compromising on quality or sustainability.

“The team here is increasingly aware that sustainable fishing is at the very heart of marine conservation,” Kirk said.

“If the oceans die, we will die. I am really passionate about the natural environment of our children.

Notch is a great meeting and party spot, serving Signature coffee and Noosa tea, an excellent wine list, draft beer, artisan sandwiches and seafood lunches, freshly baked pastries, breakfasts Sunday and good dinners.

“Our premium seafood, without the sky-high prices, is made possible because the chef deals directly with local fishermen,” Kirk said.

“We have Tin Can Bay Shrimp, Key Crab, Scallops, Mooloolaba Octopus, local reef oysters and beautifully prepared and cooked pelagic fish.

“I recommend everyone to try the local calamari, served simply grilled with garlic butter.”
