The owners of Monterey Coastal Cuisine in Carmel announced plans on Tuesday to open a partner restaurant in the Nickel Plate neighborhood of Fishers called Tiburon Coastal Cuisine.

The restaurant is scheduled to open in early fall 2022 at 8701 E. 116th in the First Internet Bank Building on the south side of 116th Street, west of the Interstate 69 interchange.

Monterey Coastal Kitchen opened in April in a 6,700 square foot space formerly occupied by Scotty’s Brewhouse on the ground floor of the Carmel’s Sophia Square building at 110 W. Main St.

Owned by former homebuilder Paul Estridge Jr. and former Kona Grill general manager Chris Thomas, Monterey Coastal offers an upscale menu including fresh seafood, sushi, steaks, sandwiches, breads dishes and more. Admission prices range from $14 to $46.

The owners said Tiburon Coastal Cuisine will offer a similar, but not identical, menu.

First Internet Bank will serve as owner for the restaurant.

“Monterey’s success, combined with First Internet Bank’s incredible location in the Nickel Plate neighborhood, spurred us on to take the next step in opening Tiburon,” Estridge said in written remarks.

ALO Property Group was listing real estate broker for Space Fishers, and Urban Space Commercial Properties served as broker for Tiburon.
